Just checking in...
Dear Sis & D,
You guys never fail to make me smile!!! Just checking in to say 'HEY!!!' and glad to hear that your 'room with a view' is inspiring!! (Bet it inspires D too!!! "Can you say GOLF"!!!) The sun is shining here today too. It rained ALL night last night again. Probably another 7 inches at least!! The pool cover was floating over the edge of the pool and 'Chester' the thermometer duck was out of the pool for the second day in a row!
We awoke this morning to crowing for the first time in many weeks since we began our 'Rooster relocation program' a couple of months ago. I was so disheartened to discover that our resident rooster (whom we rescued and rehabilitated thinking he was a hen when actually he was still a baby!) 'Hoppy' (due to his bum leg) was gleefully crowing his fool head off outside our bedroom window! He's discovered his voice! Evidently he thought breakfast would be served earlier than usual if he 'inspired' us to get out of bed a bit earlier! The only thing it inspired us to do was to fetch the live trap and bait it! Looks like 'Hoppy' has officially joined the ranks of the 'soon to be relocated' as well! Too bad, he's really quite impressive looking.
Happy that Ray & Christine are there for a visit! How wonderful for you and D to have some familiar, happy faces! Sounds as though all is going great and we are so thrilled that everything is ahead of schedule. The two of you are an inspiration! We'll keep reading and sending messages and our prayers!
Love you both very much.
