RELAY FOR LIFE - PLEASE READ

Hi all.... My mom is again getting involved in chairing one of the teams for the Bedford "Relay for Life", this year I am becoming more involved, in making it a huge success.

Last Year the Bedford chapter raised over 75k toward research for the cure; and MONROE county 500k, one of the top 10 contributors across the US.

THIS year, BEDFORD is holding the RELAY on May 20/21..... for those not familiar it is a 24 event, and there are different teams that sponsor events and fund raisers and sorts, to raise money for the CURE!!

This year, I am joining my mom and her committee TAC (Temperance Action Committee) in raising money in more ways than I have before.... My only regret is what it took for me to realize how important this was allllllll along....... to get more involved.

We are doing our TEAM theme as the "Kentucky Derby... In A RACE FOR THE CURE!!" .....

Here is what YOU can do to help...... contact me @ asheehan@limefinancial.com and tell me you are interested.............here is what you will do...

1. I will supply you with an email address to sign up to Walk for our team
2. You will be asked to look for sponsors to help raise money - they can sponsor your walk
3. You will be asked to join us on that day or night (your choice til the board fills up) to walk for 1 hour around the Bedford Track.....
4. Each participant will be asked to purchase a shirt for $10.00 as a TAC walker and of course the proceeds go the cancer reserach foundation.

IF anyone has a business and is willing to sell the "feet" for a $1.00 donation and post them at your business...... please tell me, I will get you feet to sell.

THERE IS A CANDLELIGHT LAP AT DUSK, WHERE ALL THE LUMINARIES ARE LIT, AND LAST YEAR, THERE WERE SCOTTISH BAGPIPES; I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MOVING AND EMOTIONAL THIS WAS...........I WOULD BE SOOOO PROUD IF WE COULD ALL TRY TO BE THERE FOR THAT LAP, TO JOIN HANDS AND HEARTS TO SHOW OUR SUPPORT TO MMB AND TEAM CARE!!!!!

ALSO, ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO DECORATE A LUMINARY FOR OUR MARE.... THE LUMINARIES ARE 10.00 EACH AND YOU CAN MAKE IT ANY WAY YOU WANT; PICTURES, POEMS, A NOTE TO SHOW YOUR LOVE TO MARE... WHATEVER YOU WISH.... I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED AS TO WHAT TIME THE LUMINARY LAP WILL BE, WE WILL KNOW MORE ABOUT THE SCHEDULE AS IT NEARS......

Of course...... we can do many many things for our MARY, but if we could help to find a cure; then maybe our efforts will also help to MMB or show our support as her TEAM!
