OH MY GOSH...I LOVE CORONA TOO!!! WHAT A CO-WINKY-DINK!!!!
Jim & Scott,
What a wonderful story! I knew that you all had met in Mexico, I guess I just never realized you've been friends for SO long. Mare always speaks so highly of you both. I know we've met (only once) and I knew right away why you Mare's best friends...I liked you both immediately too!
I don't have a really fun 'How we met' story. Mine is a bit less colorful than yours, however the result was the same. After hearing for weeks from my 'Fav Brother' about this new lady in his life, our first encounter was when he brought her to our 'under construction' project of a house to prep our floors for carpet installation. Everyone worked like dogs to scrape and scrub the concrete floors, Mare in the midst of all of it workin' her arse off!! I kept thinking to myself, 'What jerk brings his awesome girlfriend to his sister's house to scrub floors?????' I think he was 'testing' her to see if scared easily! Thankfully for us, we didn't scare her away.
The ultimate gift...She married him and became an official member of our family! I finally had a real live 'Sis' to call my own!!! (Thanks D, I knew you'd improve with age!!)
Mare brings the fun wherever she goes, no matter what. She's the one who shows up with the food, the games, the pool toys, the kids, the 'Grillmaster' (D), the great ideas and never forgets anything! She's a 'Party in a package'! And, lest we should forget...Bala is the one who always remembers to cut the 'butts' off Raeann's hotdogs! In a word...Mare, YOU ROCK!!!
There's always enough food and an extra chair at the table no matter who shows up at the last minute at dinnertime. ALWAYS the gracious hostess with the mostest! Gosh, all of the sudden I find myself craving pico...AND a Corona!
Mare, you hold a very special place in so many people's hearts. We all love you so very much (You too Brother!). Please just know how much we all want you well again and are praying for you both. You are very special family to us.
I love you both more than you know.
Aloha Nui Loa
