Tuesday July 18th

Hello everyone. I woke up this morning and felt like I needed to say something on the websites.

We met many of you at the visitations. What a beautiful group of people. Joyce and Carl, Christine, Jim and I worked in the kitchen at Dennis and Mare's house. We helped make potato salad and a veggie tray. How many times over the years we gathered around that big butcher block Mare had forever.... Christine said that Mare always laughed and said "If only that butcher block could talk.....!" I've always thought Christine sounded like Mare, and even more so now. It was healing to be there. So many memories in that kitchen.

The hard part of having someone you love so much in your life is that it is that much more painful to let them go.
