Aloha Sis & D,

Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear that your week has been rough. We will be hoping for BIG improvements these upcoming days!!! Just having a degree of physical comfort is a victory. I wake up each morning thinking about you two...just want you both to know how much we want for you to be well. We love you very much. You keep fighting. We keep praying and sending positive energy to help you heal!

On a slightly strange note...
We had a very weird thing happen night before last. As you may (or may not) know, we now share a living space with four other felines besides our special 'Belle'. Two of those felines are not so fond of each other and frequently get into 'disagreements' with one another. On Thursday morning (O'dark thirty) we hear all this commotion and crashing and banging about. Lee and I lie in bed mumbling about the stupid frigging cats, blah, blah, blah...The racket keeps up, I finally get out of bed to go 'break it up'. All the lights are on (unusual) and Ray is standing in the kitchen in his cute jammies with martini glasses on them, looking into the pantry.
A neighbor cat has fallen through one of our skylights (the screen is on the floor directly under the opening) and is so terrified that it has embedded itself among the canned goods (that are still standing) on the very small top shelf of the pantry!!!

Ray proceeds to open the huge doors in the kitchen that lead out to the lanai and goes out to the garage to get a broom as we cannot (DON'T DARE) begin to get close to this terrified kitty. He prods at it gently to coax it off the shelf, it FLIES through the air, out the door to the garage. We open the overhead and the cat runs faster than anything I've ever seen on four feet to escape!
This poor cat had been everywhere in the house trying to escape after falling thru the skylight, including hanging from the window casing in mom & Ray's bedroom, bouncing off the walls in the utility room and pretty much crashing into everything in it's path in an attempt to escape. Thus explaining all the racket.

We don't think it will attempt to gain entry in this fashion again in the near future, but we plan to close the skylight before bed from now on!!!
Yet another 'Animal Planet' moment!!! They never cease to amaze and entertain us!!!

I'll check in again tomorrow. Another new day!!! We love you!!!

Aloha Nui Loa

Sheri
