Hi Mary. This is Tom Emahiser, Sherry Fieldings brother. We have met a few times before and I know that Dennis remembers me. I have been keeping up with your "progress" thru David and Sherry but I felt compelled to write to you. I don't know if you were made aware of my fight for life over the past six years - I had congestive heart failure. On Jan. 26, 2005 I was blessed with a new heart. Right now I am doing very well and lloking forward to a long life.

I am so pleased to see the support group that surrounds you. Love is so amazing and so powerful. Like you I had a lot of people praying for me and as God is my judge I swear I could feel everyone of them. I had a saying or as I called it, my mantra, that kept me strong and able to cope: "I can do all things thru Christ Jesus who strengthens me. "Every time a new test came along, a major operation, more needles or strong immunosuppresant drugs I would repeat my mantra over and over.

I read that you now have a view of the golf course - that's great! As I recall you are very good golfer - you'll have to set a date with me and thoroughly kick my butt. I will finally be able to play this year!!! Hoooray!
