Hi Sheri!

 

   I remember meeting you, but it wasn't at the wedding was it?  Seems like I remember meeting you at Mare and D's.  Anyway, thanks so much for the nice words.

 

   You talking about Mare always packing the party is funny.  I agree 100%!  Jim and I like to pack like that too, but we don't hold a candle to Mare.  One thing I didn't mention about our meeting in Mexico was something she did, that you reminded me of!  One day, we had all been broiling in the sun all day, and we were really STARVING, but didn't feel like cleaning up to go out and eat.  Well, Mare pulls out her suitcase, and proceeds to get out a canned ham, mayonnaise, chips, tortillas, plates, bread....  She may have even had a jar of pickles.  She had packed GROCERIES to bring to Mexico!  We were all drooling watching her make ham salad wraps...  That is how she is.  Jim and I went to Cedar Point once with her(this is before D) and she did the same thing.  She made a mess of deli ham and cheese sandwiches with chips and packed it all in a box.  We rode several rides and then went out to the parking lot for our little picnic.  Awesome! 

 

    I think Fred and Gloria were with us once when Christine and Ray, Mare, D and I went downtown to the park to see Average White Band.  We didn't go in the park though.  Instead, we went to the roof of a parking structure and ate tamales and drank beer and tequila while watching the concert!  Fun! 

 

    I am glad you liked my story.  I felt like sharing something you all may not have known.
