Hello From Mary

Hi All,

I realized last night that I have been keeping you all posted on my progress by giving you the highlights. There has been so much more going on that you don't know about that I am going to pass along now.
From the moment that I was diagnosed with Cancer, there has been this Make Mary Better Team who has been working like crazy to clean, sanitize and prepare our home to be safe for my return. I' d like to tell you about them. My niece Christine (a cancer survivor) & Ray from Lansing Mi. Christine spent so many days here cleaning and sanitizing walls, drapes, stripping the beds, cooking and caring for me and worked on cleaning the motor coach. Ray has been such a help to Dennis and they came to drop us off and pick us up at the airport. My granddaughter Sasha took over running my office without missing a beat like she had done it all her life. I have had so many people tell me she has done a fantastic job. My sister Olivia came to help with the cleaning and she is here now to nurse me back to my old self. My sister Gloria and her husband Fred came to be with me the moment I went to the Toldeo hospital and she was by my side the whole time. Charlie Taft and his family took over Dennis' duties which allowed him to be with me all this time in Philly. Charlie has handled the business and not bothered Dennis unless it was necessary. Angel & Pat Sheehan have been here for anything that we have needed. Angel has helped Sasha with the business end and she took care of legal and personal matters for us while we were in Philly and had all air air ducts cleaned in the house. Mike Smith made it possible for all of us to communicate through this blog. He set it up and I am so glad that everyone has gotten to know each other better ny reading all the messages. My in-laws Carl & Joyce from Lousiville, took care of ordering things for the motor coach and air purifiers for our house. Carl cleaned all the carpets, furniture, beds, and ozoned the entire house and office. It was spotless when we got home. Our aunt Pam Pitzen has been handling all of insurance matters for us. It is nice not to have to think about that stuff. Scott & Jim from Kalamazoo, Mi. came to visit me before we left for Philly. Jim is a cancer surviror and it was nice talking to someone who knew what I was about to go through. Scott down loaded some music for me to have at the hospital. They are great friends. Now you know what has been going on at home while we were at the Cancer Center. When I think about all the hard work and love shown here so that I would come home to a safe enviroment, I am overwhelmed. All of this allowed us to concentrate on my treatments. So the Make Mary Better now includes all of you who post messages, pray and send me postive thoughts to help me through this journey to my recovery. I am truly blessed.

Love
Mary
