Hello, dear friend! From Adrian

March 16, 2006

Hello, Mary! This is Linda Zarate Stephens from Adrian! Gloria helped us log on to your site
after our Bible study at Beth Morast's house. Gloria said that you received the goodies she sent
along with the two cds that I sent. Your sister wanted me to write and tell you which songs on the Kim Hill had ministered to me....they are: In You Alone and You Are Still Holy.

We prayed for you tonight.....I hope you felt the prayers! I don't know if Gloria told you that
I am a cancer survivor by the grace of God! I have been in remission now for 6 years from
Non Hodgkins lymphoma...stage 4, which is the last stage. I had a huge tumor in my abdomen
that was about 8 or 9 1/2 inches long.....and I was bleeding internally, which was being treated
with blood transfusions every 3 weeks for almost a year. I underwent chemo....which got me into partial remission.....which I later had to go through an experimental treatment at the
U of M called Bexxar.

I can't wait to tell you how the Lord intervened throughout my trial with cancer, and how
He was "a present help in time of need". I journaled throughout my trial and wrote down the scriptures that He would give me every day! To my amazement, each scripture was a right on
word for the moment! I would like to share one of those scriptures with you.

Habakkuk 3:19 Amplified Bible

"The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army.
He makes my feet like hind's feet and will make me to walk, not to stand still in terror, but to walk....and make spiritual progress upon my high places of trouble, suffering, or responsibility."

When you get home and feel well enough for a visit, I would love to come and see you!

May you sense the loving arms of the Lord round about you, and may you hear the Word of the Lord clearly in this season of your life. May He give you strength and hope and build your faith to receive your healing....is my prayer for you. In Jesus' Name ....because of the finished work of the cross! Love in Christ, Linda Zarate Stephens

Mary

Hi Mary. This is Tom Emahiser, Sherry Fieldings brother. We have met a few times before and I know that Dennis remembers me. I have been keeping up with your "progress" thru David and Sherry but I felt compelled to write to you. I don't know if you were made aware of my fight for life over the past six years - I had congestive heart failure. On Jan. 26, 2005 I was blessed with a new heart. Right now I am doing very well and lloking forward to a long life.

I am so pleased to see the support group that surrounds you. Love is so amazing and so powerful. Like you I had a lot of people praying for me and as God is my judge I swear I could feel everyone of them. I had a saying or as I called it, my mantra, that kept me strong and able to cope: "I can do all things thru Christ Jesus who strengthens me. "Every time a new test came along, a major operation, more needles or strong immunosuppresant drugs I would repeat my mantra over and over.

I read that you now have a view of the golf course - that's great! As I recall you are very good golfer - you'll have to set a date with me and thoroughly kick my butt. I will finally be able to play this year!!! Hoooray!

May God continue to watch over you and protect you.

All my love all the time

Tom "Rocket Heart" Emahiser
