Update on Mary

Hi all,

as of today; mary has her feeding tube working, and they are also able to crush up her meds mix them with saline and administer that way, this allows her to absorb her meds, calories and nutrition better; it makes it more like the way the body is built to absorb.

Also, she's been off of her sedation for 48 hours, and is doing very well...... she is able to communicate better and is keeping D on his toes :)

She received her Gene therapy yesterday and her chemo today, and is doing well with both.

Mahalo for the update! I love your typing!! I guess cuz it's how you talk and that's the way it sounds to me when I 'read it in my head'!! Gosh, I love you little brother!!! I'm so proud of you both for fighting so hard.

Just as everyone else has also mentioned, we tend to get pretty worried and impatient when we hear nothing. It was just a little too much 'no news is good news' for some of us. If you need me, wanna talk...whatever, call me on my cell. You're doing such an amazing job of caring for Sis, but don't forget to take care of you too.

Lee says to be sure I tell you "Hey *&#$^%@, love ya guy!!! Give Mare my love and a big hug from me" So...there, message delivered! He also said when you need anything that he can help out with, give him a call.

As for a couple of other gals that you rate with...Dorian and I send you both all our love every single day. I think of you and Mare upon every sunrise and you both fill my thoughts every day. I love you both so much. I miss you both terribly.
