Thinking & praying for you-

Hi Mary
I just want you to know each day you are continually in our thoughts, prayers, dreams, ..always each day....There is so much in this world that we cannot explain, why bad things happen to good people and vise versa. But we do know sin is in the world and thus sickness is here..I do not believe for one minute God puts this sickness on us..its from the sin in this world.
The Word says:
John 10: 9-11I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.[a] He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
11"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Hold on to your faith Mary. God loves you so much. Allow the Holy Spirit to comfort you and give you peace, strength and a sound mind. I pray a hedge of protection around you.
Love you very much
Rachel
Hello its Aunt Sherry,
I have no clue if I have been posting my emails in the right place or not, this is my third one and I haven't seen any of the others that I wrote, but I will keep on trying!! I am still in sunny Florida, Uncle David is flying in next week and we will be driving home by the end of March and hope to be back by the 2nd. of April. I will miss the wonderful weather but I am anxious to see Chandler and the rest of the family. I hope that you two realize that you are in our thoughts and Prayers daily.

Love Always,
Aunt Sherry and Uncle David
Hi Aunt Mary & Uncle Dennis,
Checking in to see how things are going. All ok here. We have been sending pictures with the e-mails but they are not showing up on the site. Are they coming thru?? Maybe I am sending to many at one time. I will only send one with this e-mail and see how it goes. Paige has a half day tomorrow (Thursday) for teacher conferences. Paige's conference is in the afternoon. She always does very well in school. We were told that there is supposed to be a snow storm blowing in tonite and we are expecting up to six inches of snow. That is a word-of-mouth forecast. Haven't seen it on tv yet but hope it is not true. haha. People at church ask about you and want you to know they continue to uphold you in prayer as we all do.  Not much else to report from this end. Will keep you posted on the snow.....brrrrrrrrrrrr.
Love You Lots & Lots,
Olivia, Miss Paige & Chris

Aloha Sis and D,

How comforting to see the photo of you two!! Mare, you look great! D, get a haircut!!! (kidding, you look alright. You're still the best looking brother I have!!!)

It always does my heart good to hear that things are going as well as they should be. I spoke with both Dad & J and got a bit more info on everything that's been happening. Hoping you two are soon home to the comforts of your own surroundings. There's no place like home!

Sounds like the 'Mary mobile' will be cruising the highways soon enough. Dad says it is a fine ride!! Sure beats the heck out of cramped seats and recycled cootie air!!! Hope the fridge arrives soon enough. Gotta have snacks to travel!

Just a quick update on what's happening here as so many people have e-mailed us regarding the disaster and our well-being. We are A-Okay. Pretty scary stuff and a devastating blow to the community here. We are isolated from the rest of the island at the present time, but they are hoping to provide one passable lane on the highway soon.

Happy thoughts, prayers and much love from us to you!!!!

Hey Des!

Jim and I are traveling with another couple, and also meeting Jim's brother while we are out there.  Jim's brother lives in Ontario.  I also have to take some time to visit Loma Linda University Hospital.  AND we are going to see Ellen Degeneres!  I would LOVE to meet up with you, but I doubt we will have time this trip.  BUT, I think we may try to come out again just to visit family later this summer, and then we will make a point to meet up, OK?

I am heading out the door...  But wanted to check and read the updates from everyone...  Have a wonderful day all.  Mare, you are one day closer to being all better!  love you!

From Des...again

Hi Aunt Mare
I hope my stories don't bore or annoy you. I know it must be pretty lame being in the hospital. I figured I would just take you on my interesting journeys with me-I am gonna go to farmers market and take pics for you We will go on a trip to the hot sauce store. They have THOUSANDS of different kinds of HOT SAUCE. I read Jim and Scott were going to the desert HMMM wonder if they want to meet for dinner???

I love you and cherish you and value you very much. Please rest as much as you can so your body can heal.

There is a WAR at my door

Hi Aunt Mare
I have a funny war on my lawn. I feed the pigeons every day -I cook them ice, bread, dog food whatever. Well a few weeks ago on a Sunday I saw something go flop flop on the lawn and I went "oh no one of the birds is injured" I take in injured birds and they stay in my bathroom until they are ready to face the world. Well the flop-flopping mass swooped up into the tree and it was a HAWK that had a pigeon and it was plucking the pigeon in the tree-I almost fainted.
Well now, a few days ago I heard the CAW CAW CAWING of the Crows. So I went out to see what was going on. I have a MURDER of crows (that is what they call a flock of crows, isn't that odd?) that hangs out wih the pigeons and the HAWK was back and the CROWS were DIVE BOMBING AT THE HAWK!!! ONE BY ONE THEY SWOOPED DOWN AFTER THE HAWK THAT WAS PERCHED HIGH UP AT THE TOP OF THE TREE!! They were like fighter jets after that hawk. It was unbelievable how the crows had ganged up on the hawk. I think there must be some crow babies and the hawk was looking for lunch. Well finally the hawk had had enough of the crows and their big mouths and he flew away.
I took pictures of the warring birds the crow is on the bottom with his mouth open and the red tailed hawk is on the top. I know the hawks nerves were spent cause those crows made a LOT of noise.
Funny how they are HUH?
love you des
