Aloha Sis and Fav. Brother,

I have been wondering how everything has been going since resuming chemo on Wednesday. As usual, the two of you are my first waking thought each day.

I am encouraged to hear that the trees are thinning! It is all about 'baby steps' little brother. It's all you can do. Whatever it takes to get you through each exhausting day, sometimes it may mean crawling on your hands and knees.

Know that you two are in my heart and prayers each and every day. I wish I could be there to just hold and hug and kiss the both of you. I miss you very much. Stay strong...keep going, it's working!!!!

hello all its been kind of a tiresome week the speech thearapist was here on wednesday evening and did a swallow test then the next day the ENT dr came in and watched mary swallow with a camera as of today she is on FULL LIQUIDS this is a big step her wheening is a little slowed down because she has been tired during the day her oncolgist returned from vacation on thursday he is going to talk to the lung dr to see if it would be beneficial to drain the locked in fluid still on her lungs even though it has reduced greatly what is left is still draging on her abality to catch her breath she is also sitting up in the chair everyday which is exhasting but helps muscles to streach and move the labs are becomeing more and more consistant everyday her color is back and her swelling is down we could be home mabe in 8 to 12 weeks if all goes well the forrest is becoming thinner and thinner as we see more light we gain more confeidence as we said before we could never express enough how much we appricate all of you who help us who write to us and who pray daily a witness to TRUE COURAGE and BELIEF d
