Christine Here

It is a warm, sunny afternoon in Philadelphia. Ray and I stopped in Toledo last evening and picked up all the cards and things that everyone has sent to Mary and brought them to her. We drove all night and arrived at the Center about 7:00 this a.m. Dennis opened all the cards and read them to her this morning. I am going to find something to display them all for her, so keep them coming.

Aunt M looks wonderful. I am in her room typing this message while she is sleeping. There are lots of people in and out of her room constantly. Just being here and seeing what goes on during her day is wearing me out, so I know that it is exhausting for her. While she was awake, she told me she doesn't often have time to answer everyone's post individually, but D does read them all to her. If she lets me, I will take her picture and post it so you can all see her. I'm signing off now,

Love to All,

Christine

Just checking in...

Dear Sis & D,

You guys never fail to make me smile!!! Just checking in to say 'HEY!!!' and glad to hear that your 'room with a view' is inspiring!! (Bet it inspires D too!!! "Can you say GOLF"!!!) The sun is shining here today too. It rained ALL night last night again. Probably another 7 inches at least!! The pool cover was floating over the edge of the pool and 'Chester' the thermometer duck was out of the pool for the second day in a row!

We awoke this morning to crowing for the first time in many weeks since we began our 'Rooster relocation program' a couple of months ago. I was so disheartened to discover that our resident rooster (whom we rescued and rehabilitated thinking he was a hen when actually he was still a baby!) 'Hoppy' (due to his bum leg) was gleefully crowing his fool head off outside our bedroom window! He's discovered his voice! Evidently he thought breakfast would be served earlier than usual if he 'inspired' us to get out of bed a bit earlier! The only thing it inspired us to do was to fetch the live trap and bait it! Looks like 'Hoppy' has officially joined the ranks of the 'soon to be relocated' as well! Too bad, he's really quite impressive looking.

Happy that Ray & Christine are there for a visit! How wonderful for you and D to have some familiar, happy faces! Sounds as though all is going great and we are so thrilled that everything is ahead of schedule. The two of you are an inspiration! We'll keep reading and sending messages and our prayers!

Love you both very much.

To Fred & Sarah

I get very tired and don't get to answer everyone all the time, but Christine is here today and is typing for me. I know that your thoughts are with me and I am doing better. I am toleratiing treatments very well and things seem to be ahead of schedule.

I have now doubt that I have been given a purpose with this disease, it is to heal and to help others manage to make it through this also.

I'm in good spirits. Dennis by my side helping me hand in hand. Between the two of us, we know we will beat this. Don't have any fear for me, only positive thoughts.

Say hello to the family. Please stay in touch.

Love,

Mary & Dennis

Mary Here

Greetings to Everyone,

I have a new room with a view of the golf course. The bright sunshine today is giving me an incentive to get better faster. My diabetes is under control and my blood counts are excellent (better than yesterday). Christine and Ray are visiting D and I today. I miss you all and look forward to coming home. Dennis read all the cards that were sent to the house to me. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

God bless you all,

Mary

There is a very good outline in the Life in the Spirit Study Bible on Divine Healing.
It outlines a whole series of things to do. Here are a few scriptures.

John 15:7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

James 5:16Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Fervently praying for you
Thanking & Praising God for your salvation...
