Make Mary better

Aloha Sis & D,

Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear that your week has been rough. We will be hoping for BIG improvements these upcoming days!!! Just having a degree of physical comfort is a victory. I wake up each morning thinking about you two...just want you both to know how much we want for you to be well. We love you very much. You keep fighting. We keep praying and sending positive energy to help you heal!

On a slightly strange note...
We had a very weird thing happen night before last. As you may (or may not) know, we now share a living space with four other felines besides our special 'Belle'. Two of those felines are not so fond of each other and frequently get into 'disagreements' with one another. On Thursday morning (O'dark thirty) we hear all this commotion and crashing and banging about. Lee and I lie in bed mumbling about the stupid frigging cats, blah, blah, blah...The racket keeps up, I finally get out of bed to go 'break it up'. All the lights are on (unusual) and Ray is standing in the kitchen in his cute jammies with martini glasses on them, looking into the pantry.
A neighbor cat has fallen through one of our skylights (the screen is on the floor directly under the opening) and is so terrified that it has embedded itself among the canned goods (that are still standing) on the very small top shelf of the pantry!!!

Ray proceeds to open the huge doors in the kitchen that lead out to the lanai and goes out to the garage to get a broom as we cannot (DON'T DARE) begin to get close to this terrified kitty. He prods at it gently to coax it off the shelf, it FLIES through the air, out the door to the garage. We open the overhead and the cat runs faster than anything I've ever seen on four feet to escape!
This poor cat had been everywhere in the house trying to escape after falling thru the skylight, including hanging from the window casing in mom & Ray's bedroom, bouncing off the walls in the utility room and pretty much crashing into everything in it's path in an attempt to escape. Thus explaining all the racket.

We don't think it will attempt to gain entry in this fashion again in the near future, but we plan to close the skylight before bed from now on!!!
Yet another 'Animal Planet' moment!!! They never cease to amaze and entertain us!!!

I'll check in again tomorrow. Another new day!!! We love you!!!

Aloha Nui Loa

update from Mary

Hello all,
Sorry it's taken so long to write. Had is small set back. I had some fluid in my left lung that has been there but not a problem. Well, they decided to drain it since it bothered my breathing and it was a relief. I might not have to have the talc powder & chest tube if the fluid doesn't retrun. They will know on monday if I need the talc, we'll hope for the best. I have had an up & down week. Good one day not so good the next. Finally got all the medication straightened around and everything is good now. Had my start of round two of Cheemo on Tuesday. Stronger stuff, suppose to reduce size of Cancer tumor. Next Cheemo is schduled for next Tuesday. Then we well know when we well be able to head home. thanks again for all the post, prayers and postive thoughts.

God Bless
Mary & Denis

Hi Aunt Mary & Uncle Dennis,
Paige's rehearsal went well today. The kids have sure worked hard to get this all together. The school in Novi where they were supposed to go for next weeks competetion had a fire this week so the dance school is scrambling to find a new place. They only have a few days but I am sure they will find something. Here are a few more pictures from 2004. Hope you enjoy them.
Love & Miss You,

museum

Hi Sis&D,
Miss you & Love you both,

I went to historical museum downtown Adrian ,talked to the director about moms M. W.W.II things. They are going to display all items, quilt, pic's and any info I can give them about her and the group. I know that would make her proud and smile to know that part of her will be on display for all to see.

Waiting patiently for your return.

Hi Mary and Dennis!

Hard to believe how much we miss you guys! Haven't been able to figure out how to put stuff on the blog. This is great that there is now an easy way for technically challenged people such as myself. Just a short note right now to let you know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We think about you often.

Love Keith and the rest of the Perrysburg gang!

Hello Mary & Dennis

 Hello Mary & Dennis,

I hope this goes through all right. I have tried quite a few times to send something but I have had no luck doing it. Joyce sent me information of another way to send things. Sure hope it works this time. I have been able to read from the sight so I have kept up pretty well with what is going on at your end.

Please know that you and Dennis are in our thoughts and prayers Mary. Stay strong and keep the faith. God has a plan for each of us even though we don’t always understand where we are headed. I am sorry that you have to go through this Mary, you are such a strong person I am sure you will beat this.

Love, Marilyn & Denny

Hi Aunt Mary & Uncle Dennis,
A quick note to say hello. Paige has dress rehearsal today in Onsted. Her competition in Detroit is next week-end. We will be taping today and then I will see if I can figure out how to get the tape transfered to the pc and/or dvd. I am sending a picture form this e-mail address to see if it will come thru. The ones I am sending from the Verizon site are not showing up. I only use this e-mail address for sending pictures...not e-mail. I rarely check it. I will check to see if the pic goes thru. If not I will have to see if I can figure out what is going on. A couple for church asked about you yesterday. We are keeping them informed and they are keeping you in prayer.
We Love You,
Olivia, Miss Paige and Chris
