Make Mary better

Hello from Mary

Hi All

Hope everyone had a good week end. I have been busy. I had to go to the hospital to get some blood work done. It was routine stuff that had to be tested one week after my Chemo. It came back that my red blood was low so I had to go to get a shot for that. It has made me a little ill, not bad though. I also have had a little trouble with my breathing. I was able to get some oxygen so it helped alot. Dennis has been busy getting the motor coach ready for our trip to Philly this week. We are leaving on Wed., Chemo on Thurs., head home on Friday. Charlie, his son Christopher, Mike Smith, and Steve Abrell have worked with Dennis all week end putting in new carpet and laminate and cleaning the coach. I am going to have quite a ride when they are done. I am a little tired right now so I'll post again tomorrow.

God Bless
Mary

Back from Palm Spings

Hey Mare!

Great reading all the updates! Thanks so much for taking time to get us informed.

We had a great time in Palm Springs. It is a beautiful city! We crossed into the LA area twice, and both times it was raining like mad..... I could LIVE in Palm Springs! I loved it! There is a beautiful "Cancer Survivor Park" there. Of course we thought of you! How neat to have a park named after you!

We went out one night and met the actress who played LaVonda in the movie "Sordid Lives"! How funny is that? We had a ball talking to her... What fun!

Can't wait to see you,

Love,

Scott & Jim
Happy Monday!!!???

Seems like my Mondays are happier just because i don't have to get up and go the office anymore! Now I hate the fact that Dorian has school! She is going to attempt full days this week for the first time. Her Chemistry teacher came over yesterday to help her with some of her make-up work. Dorian is going to be a very busy girl these next few weeks and she will have to work especially hard to get all she has missed made up on top of keeping up with her 4th quarter studies! (She will have the month of June to complete any make-up work as well.)

We were at the clinic this morning before school for her wound care. This allows the Doc to assess the progress. Things had seemed to be going okay until late last week and today the Doc confirmed that the area that has been most problematic has increased a bit in size...NOT GOOD!!! We are now going to try a Calcium Alginate packing (which is a seaweed derivative that is supposed to promote tissue healing.) The next alternative would be a Human Growth Factor to get the tissue to heal.

So, another week begins...another week towards healing and good health for Mare and Dorian!!! Each day is a blessing!!!

More powerful Mana coming your way as you prepare for your next trip to PA. Hope you are continuing to rest well at home and that Dennis continues to play his 'Nurse Wratchet' role to perfection!!! ( I know you are Brother!!!)

I'll continue to check in on you two. Maybe talk to you again soon too!!! Love you both very much!

Aloha Nui Loa

P.S. What happened to Desi and the entertaining stories and puppy pics???? DES.....WHERE ARE U???

Just checking in

Hello to the two of you,

It's Monday afternoon and I was just checking in to see if anything was new, I am sure that you are behaving and enjoying your time at home. We went to the lake this weekend to open up the trailer, the season officialy starts next weekend, but we will be spending that time with family so we wanted to at least get the slide outs out and make sure everything is ok, we seem to have a electric problem on one side of the trailer, can't figure it out as of yet, even had Craig look at it(he is pretty good with electric stuff), but he is also baffled!!! It is supposed to be a pretty nice week so I hope that you can get outside and enjoy the sunshine!!!! Thats all for now, take care and be good.

Love Always,
Aunt Sherry
