Just checking in to see if there's any 'chatter' on the site and to tell you both 'Hello' from us!! Hope you are still resting comfortably. Do you still have visitors keeping you company and helping to pass the time? And...to soak your sponges in juice??? Very creative!

It's been a busy few days. Lots going on here. School events, vacation rental, cat sitting, garage cleaning, etc... We are doing a lot of driving to accommodate Dorian's wound care needs. The new drug she is using requires that it be irrigated from the wound after 12 hours and then packed with wet to dry dressing. Since I have a hard time even looking at the 'hole', it's a really good thing that her doctor is anal about monitoring the new drug and following the 12 hours in, 12 hours out to the letter. It does mean however, that we are driving about 45 minutes to her house each evening for her to care for this thing after hours. We are referring to it as 'reverse house call'!!! She's really cool. Very bright and energetic. We showed up at her house for the first time the other night and she was very impressed with my 'wound care travel kit'...so, she makes a sticker for it that reads: 'Mom's Mash Unit' since I have everything but the kitchen sink in it!!! She's funny. We like her a lot. It is such a blessing, as you well know, to like your care-givers!
We are holding our breath that this product works, as the alternative at this point is not a very good one.

Lee is busy with his new job as well. They are keeping their guys really busy with 8-10 hour days. He's good and tired when he gets home! He likes his new boss really well, says he's really nice. He seems to be enjoying the other guys he works with and it sounds like he gets to do a little bit of everything. He always enjoyed a little variety at Bucher's as well. Let him know if you guys need anything. He keeps asking me for updates and I can only give him what I know. I did leave you an 'I Love you' message on your voice mail, hope you got it.
