Update from Christine

Happy Sunday Afternoon,

Mary is doing about the same as yesterday. Early this a.m., a nurse called our room and said that Mary asked for her sister. Mom went down and talked to her for a while. She said she missed seeing the flowers in her yard, so Mom took her camera outside and took some pictures of hostas, azelias, pansies and marigolds, around the hospital grounds and showed Mary. I think she really enjoyed that we brought the "outside" to her.

She still can't have ice or water, but D and I have been making "popsicles" freezing the little pink sponges that have been soaked with flavored water or juices. They are very refreshing!

Mom and D are downstairs, I just came up to post a little info. Will post again tomorrow.

Everyone remember, prayers and positive thoughts! They really do work!

    I am so happy to wake up to such a fantastic note from you!  Please tell Mary how much we love and miss her!  This is about the longest we have gone without talking to her....  Even when we lived in Texas, we talked at least once every two weeks... 

 

    Jim and I had company last night, but we were thinking of Mare, D and everyone as always.  So happy that we are having an upward swing!  WONDERFUL!
